"Frank Junior Oldfield of Riverside, Ca passed away peacefully February 20, 2017 at the age of 89 of natural causes. He was born February 26, 1927 in Newton, Iowa to Frank A. Oldfield and Sarah E. (Burnett) Oldfield. He lived in Iowa until 1932 when the family relocated to Burbank, Ca.
Mr. Oldfield was an ambitious young man and began working full time by the age of 16. He also spent time in the Army, serving in Japan during World War II. Upon returning from the War, he moved to Oakland, Ca where he met and married Doris Dufilho Oldfield on January 29, 1949. The couple had 4 children and raised their family in various cities in California before settling in Riverside, Ca . Mr. Oldfield retired as a Vice President/manager of Security Pacific Bank.
He is preceded in death by his wife Doris Oldfield, sisters Betty Chapman, Kay Robinson and Jean Ferguson. He is survived by his daughter Linda Russell & husband Richard of Frisco, Tx, son George Oldfield & wife Linda of Riverside, Ca, daughter Susan Baldwin & husband Bennett of Riverside, Ca and son Ronald Oldfield and wife Sue of Gresham, Or, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, brother George Oldfield & wife Sherry of Riverside, Ca, sister Sharry Larson & husband Dennis of Prescott, Az and longtime friend, Mary Strange, of Riverside, Ca.
