Minister Fannie Louise Brown, age 71, of 1730 Parkwood Blvd., Wilson transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. A celebration of her life and legacy will be Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 12 noon in the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson. Bishop Willie Thomas will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Fannie’s life of love and legacy lives in her beautiful daughters, LaTonya, Michon, Cinzia, and JaDana, and son, Staccato; and three devoted grandsons whom she doted; Joshua Atkinson, Noah Atkinson, and Ian Atkinson, and adorned granddaughters, Brianna and A’shaunna Lucas; her only and favorite son-in-law, Derrick Cooper; her dear sisters, Mavis Williams (Bill) of Augusta, GA; the late Linda Faye Terry and the late Nell Hatcher (Jerry); two brothers, the late Frank Vernon Brown and late Reginald Lamont Brown all of Wilson, NC; and her dear Aunt Louise Lassiter of Wake Forest, NC, a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will view on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2 pm at Carrons Funeral Home and there will be a guest book signing on Tuesday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will assemble at Hampton Inn, 2806 Wolf Trap Drive, Wilson at 11 am on Wednesday in preparation for the funeral procession.
