George Roqueni of Glendale, California passed away in Los Angeles, California on March 7, 2024.
George was born in New York City on April 28, 1943 to Benigno Roqueni and Aurelia (nee Hernandez) Roqueni. At the time of his death, he was working at the Los Angeles County Transportation Authority in the Legal Department, after working as the Assistant Board Secretary. He began his work for the County in 1999, as a staff assistant for the Board of Supervisors.
Throughout his four decades in Los Angeles County, George was a curator of antiques, collectables and memorabilia. His most recent professional creation, Making Every Moment Memorable, Endlessly Enticing Enduring Endeavor, shared a table at the Pasadena Community College (PCC) Flea Market for the past several years.

George was the brother of Mary Lopez, brother in-law of Alfred Lopez, uncle of Teresa, Ray, Steve, and Pete, and hugger extraordinaire, friend to all, and lovingly known as Great Gruncle to his 13 grand nieces and nephews, and eight great grand nieces and nephews.
