Amanda Renee Renslow of Oakland, California, passed away on February 6th, 2024.
 
Amanda was born in Republic, Washington, on April 20th, 1987. She was a bright and inquisitive student at Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington, before pursuing her passion for English Literature and Secondary Education at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, where she graduated with honors.
 
After working as a dedicated teacher, Amanda chose to focus on her most cherished role as a stay-at-home mom, nurturing and guiding her beloved son, Isaac David Renslow.
 
Amanda's love for literature was infectious, often found sharing her favorite books with her husband, Ryan, and son, Isaac, bringing stories to life with her animated readings. Her adventurous spirit shone through in her love for hiking, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, and tending to her garden and houseplants. Amanda's caring nature extended to all living things, evident in her gentle care for her dogs and cat, Linux, and her profound love for her family. She was a great Lego building partner and she used every moment to help teach and enrich those around her.
 
Amanda's resilience and love for her family was unwavering. She was a beacon of strength, showing incredible courage in her battles, all while being a wonderful mother and a devoted wife.
 
Amanda is survived by her husband, Ryan Scott Renslow; her son, Isaac David Renslow; her dad and step-mom Bryan and Jennifer Wilson; her parent-in-laws, Cheryl and Forrest Renslow; her sister- and brother-in-law Kelli and Darren Stegner and her nephew Ronin and niece Avera; and her beloved cat, Linux. She leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, curiosity, and an indomitable spirit that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
