James Donald “Jimbo” Marshall passed away unexpectedly on April 02, 2024. He was 61 years old. He left behind many friends and a select few whom he called family. He is preceded in death by his mother Jeannie Judy Marshall and father figure Wayne James. Jimbo had one beloved companion and confidant, his cat “Willy”, who now resides with his brother Michael.
James joined the US Navy early in life. Then found a career as a driver in the commercial trucking industry which lasted over 25 years.
James loved technology items, enjoying large-screen television and various video content, a huge collection of high-volume music, stand-up comedy, and the National Football League’s Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders. He was a huge fan of “ugly trucks” like his 1970s Chevy Bronco’s.
Jimbo is loved by so many friends and locals at his home base in Niles, California. Scores of friends who knew him well came by Jimbo’s home with news of his passing. The stories of his general joy and humorous nature still lie deep inside us. To think of James is to remember fantastic, funny and wild stories that will live in our memories forever.
