Rosalie was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 5, 1942 to Meyer Krenitz and Bernice Vickstein. She attended New College of California School of Law and worked at the Sonoma County Public Defenders Office as a Public Defender for 24 years. In 2020, she earned a Masters Degree in Creative Writing.
She loved ballet, art, music, travel and all things French - including learning to speak the language. One of her favorite trips was being able to travel to Russia. She showed great strength and courage as a two time breast cancer survivor and used that strength to visit and encourage others with cancer. She also enjoyed volunteering her time to help young people.
She is survived by her husband Noel Marcovecchio and son Aaron Stern. Also, her daughter- in- law Tammy Stern and two granddaughters Alexia and Mikaela.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association and/or Breast Cancer Foundation.
There will be a Memorial Service in Tiburon, California, on Sunday, June 23rd from 2:00pm - 5:00pm. Call (415) 279-7262 for details. All family and friends of the family are welcome to attend.
