Ronnie Curtis passed away July 10th, 2024 at his home in Davis California. He had succumbed to stomach cancer that he bravely fought for 9 months.
Ron was born and raised in Stockton California for 40 years until he met his wife Vickey.
During their 29 years together, Vickey and Ron enjoyed traveling to many states including a cruise to Alaska and Canada, eventually settling in Davis.
Ronnie's passion in life was volunteering. He volunteered at Mather Air Force Base Hospital for 10 years, assisting veterans in navigating the huge medical center. He also volunteered at Travis Air Force Base, Sutter Hospital and recently Meals on Wheels in Yolo County.
He was always quick to offer a helping hand and engage any one into a lively conversation, especially if the subject of sports was brought up. Ronnie was an avid Sacramento Kings and San Francisco 49er fan.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his father Frank Junior Curtis. He is survived by his beloved mother Shirley Curtis, sister Cheryl Ramos, nieces Amanda Ramos and Heather Thomas, wife Vickey Curtis, son Michael Curtis and step-son Joseph Villalobos.
