Carolyn Longfellow
Melissa Ann Woodruff, aged 52, of Hartford, Wisconsin, was called to her eternal rest on August 13, 2024. Born on December 21, 1971, in the state of Indiana, she lived a life characterized by her unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and all those in need of a kind word or a listening ear.
Her home was a haven of hospitality, where the coffee was always ready, and the conversation meaningful. With a passion for caring for others, Melissa's presence was a source of comfort and strength. She was known for her fierce loyalty and the deep connections she forged with those she brought into her life, including many who became like family to her.
Melissa is lovingly remembered by her fiancé, Bryon Kelsey; her daughter, Carolyn (Stewart) Longfellow; her brother, Steven Woodruff; her nieces, Ashley and Chelsea Woodruff; her nephew, Tristian Woodruff; her great-niece and great-nephews and her treasured granddaughter, Allyson Longfellow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Donna Woodruff, and her brother, Michael Woodruff.
A service to celebrate Melissa's life will be arranged at a later date. The family takes solace in knowing that her compassionate spirit and legacy of love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
