Lila "Jacky" Harris of Portland, OR passed away on Aug 8th 2024.
 
Jacky was born in Nebraska on May 23rd 1950 to Lyal and Lois Warboys. She worked for Oregon Youth Authority as a social services worker for many years.
 
Jacky enjoyed spending time with family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and recently great grandmother. She is remembered as being kind and generous by those who knew her and had many organizations to which she donated regularly.  Jacky loved music and laughing. She was joyful and positive.  She had the kindest smile that would make anyone feel welcome.  Jacky lived almost 50 years in Hubbard, OR and made many friends of neighbors there. She built community with local families and was well liked by everyone. Jacky got up, got dressed, and put on her makeup every day- whether she was going somewhere or not. She was feisty and fun loving and a pleasure to be around. She was always there for her family when they needed her and helped them out often. She was a caring and gentle person. She is deeply missed by those who love her. 
 

Jacky is survived by her son Cory Harris and daughter Cari King, grandchildren Hazel, Ace, Nola, and Ashley, and great grandson Ziggy.
